Info: Ping Wang's installation Winter Worm Summer Plant uses photography and poetry to depict the history of the Sino-Tibetan plateau and it's devastation. Using the herbal medicinal wormplant chongcao as bearer of economic change, her poetic images contrast age old ways clashing and surviving within the modern. Please join the artist and her special guests for an evening of poetry and performance. The audience is encouraged to bring and share their poems of migrant experience.

A haunting poem written in the Vilna Ghetto of Lithuania by Abraham Sutzkever in September 1943 has inspired Minneapolis artist Robyn Stoller Awend to create the exhibition Survival- When Truth and Fiction Intersect.
